So many companies use AI interfaces between them and their customers. I logged into Singapore Airlines website today to update a booking. When I entered the Reservation Number and my name the AI interface told me that they couldn't help with my enquiry because I had already flown. The booking is for August 10 this year. I panicked at this point as I didn't know what to do next. After a few moments I typed exactly the same details in and it gave me access. It's this total dependence on AI at the business/ customer interface that disturbs me. It's almost impossible to get help if an error like this happens. I have flown many times with Singapore AIrlines and love their service. But I really dislike their (and other businesses) electronic interface, especially when it fails to function.
